	STATION # 1 - BRECHIN	The Township of Ramara ( formerly Rama and Mara Townships) which has a population of about 8500 citizens, is situated in the Heartland of Cottage Country along the northeast shores of Lake Simcoe & Lake Couchiching about 1-1/2 hours north of Toronto. The department consists of 53 firefighters and utilizes17 various pieces of fire apparatus, which include pumpers, tankers, rescues, watercraft and all terrain vehicles, all working out of 3 stations located throughout the township.
